Vorto Trading’s 2019 Highlights

We have eased into the new year and have fully settled into our new London Headquarters on Liverpool St. It is a calming and serene oasis that envelopes the energy of Liverpool St, Spitalfields Market and Shoreditch. We are glad to have found our new home here.

However before we dive in and fully embrace all the exciting opportunities for growth that 2020 affords us, we are taking a moment to reflect upon the successes of the previous year. 2019 was an incredible year for Vorto Trading on many accounts.

As we look back, September was a great month for the business. We hit a record number of cross-border transactions for Asian investors that month, illustrating that more international clients are investing in the UK economy. Of course, that is not only a win for us, but a win for the British economy.

We have been working more closely with our Chinese clients. It was a privilege for us to support the 2019/20 Autumn (China/UK) High-End Talent Job with Mason events and our Asian desk manager, Chen Xu, enjoyed giving a speech to help global clients gain deeper insights of our foreign currency trading services at the East Meets West Club.

Notable highlights for us have been growth in property investment. We have supported more clients with their golden visa applications and were happy to be involved in hosting a trend panel at InvestSpot to discuss trends of the UK property market.

We were lucky enough to be listed as one of the ‘50 best companies to watch in 2019’ by The Silicon Review. We were also honoured to be the recipients of many awards, including the ‘Best Payments Solutions Provider’ in the 2019 International Finance Awards and we were featured in the ACQ5 Global award’s magazine as the ‘Cross-border Payments Solution Provider of the Year’. It is a testament to the hard work and team effort demonstrated by all.
We have a great energy amongst the team and as our journey in business develops, we have investigated expansion plans and broadening our reach. As part of this, we have opened a new office in Cape Town as we see the city’s tremendous growth and fruitful future. We look forward to seeing how our progress here develops.

Despite our growth and enthusiasm for 2019, we have been paying close attention to the environmental crisis that is occupying our headlines and newsfeed. We believe that business is and can be a power for good and a tool for promoting positive change. It is with this intention that we launched our eco-friendly initiative towards the latter part of 2019. Our goal is to work with businesses and organisations that are paving the way for a greener future.

“Vorto’s success has not only come from the relentless efforts of our incredible team, but I’d also like to thank our clients and affiliates for recommending our service to their friends and business associates. We hope this new decade brings people good health, happiness and prosperity”
Bobby Ward – Managing Director
